The City of Penticton and the Urban Development Institute (UDI) present an Open for Business and Development 101 Event.

An educated understanding of the development process is required to fully appreciate the pressures, constraints and complexities of developing a parcel of land and what elements are required to make and keep a project viable. Development 101 is a simple explanation of development from start to end and provides a better understanding of the language of development.

The City of Penticton will introduce its new Economic Investment Zones. Property tax relief on improvements and land and building permit fee reductions form part of the exciting new revitalization opportunities in the key redevelopment and employment areas of the City.
