As CMHC’s BC Regional Manager for Market Analysis and Research & Information Transfer, Charles has access to the latest statistics and analysis of the economy as it relates to BC's housing market. Charles will examine trends in BC’s economy, financial markets, demographics and industry sectors and discuss how they will impact the housing sector as the industry begins to plan for 2011 and beyond. In his role with CMHC Research, Charles will highlight some of the latest projects and activities related to the CMHC EQuilibrium initiative profiling the need and benefits of sustainability in housing construction.

As CMHC’s BC, Manager, Business Development, Multi-Unit Housing, BC Region
With an extensive background in the financing of both residential and commercial properties, with experience in both the public and private sectors, John joined CMHC in 1991 and is presently Manager of Business Development for Multi-Unit Mortgage Insurance. John will be providing a brief update regarding CMHC’s multi-unit mortgage insurance products with a focus on their most recently announced products for student housing and condominium construction.

PAUL FABRI
CMHC, Senior Market Analyst – Kelowna and Southern Interior, BC Region
With almost thirty years experience as CMHC’s Housing Market Analyst for the Kelowna area, Paul will share his insights into Kelowna’s new home construction, resale and rental markets. Paul will provide a brief overview of current housing market conditions, emerging trends and forecast for the balance of 2010 and 2011.
